BIQc's database and file storage are in Sydney, and the application runs in Microsoft Azure's Australian regions. AI questions are processed by approved model providers, and some other service providers handle data outside Australia — each one and its country is named in the Privacy Policy. Training restrictions are set out in the AI Learning Guarantee and DPA, not buried in fine print.
Data is encrypted at rest by our hosting providers (AES-256) and in transit with TLS 1.2 or higher. Every request is checked on the server against your account, and database row-level security adds a second layer.
We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. SOC 2 Type II: not yet started — we publish the honest status, not a badge.
No public AI training: training-restriction controls on supported providers, and BIQc never adds your data to shared training datasets. Answers show their evidence and sources. The AI Learning Guarantee puts it in writing: you own your inputs and your outputs.
