Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and safeguard personal and business information — in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
- We collect only what's needed to run BIQc for you — account details and the business data you choose to connect.
- Your data is used to serve your organisation. It is never sold and never used for advertising — and BIQc never adds it to shared AI training datasets (training-restriction controls apply on supported providers).
- Stored in Australian data centres, encrypted at rest and in transit. AI model processing can occur overseas with approved providers, in line with Australian Privacy Principle 8.
- You can access, correct or delete your data at any time — and complain to the OAIC if we get it wrong.
1. Introduction
Business Intelligence Quotient Centre Pty Ltd ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard personal and business information in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
2. Information we collect
Personal information
- Name, email address, phone number.
- Company name, role, and business details.
- Authentication credentials (encrypted).
Business data
- Financial records and accounting data you connect.
- CRM data.
- Operational metrics.
- Communication metadata.
3. How we use your data
- To provide and improve BIQc services.
- To generate business intelligence and recommendations for your organisation.
- To communicate service updates and alerts.
- To maintain security and prevent fraud.
4. Data storage & security
All data is stored in Australian data centres. We use encryption at rest and in transit, and enforce role-based access controls with account security controls. See Security & Infrastructure for the full control set.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared with sub-processors solely for the purpose of delivering BIQc services, subject to equivalent privacy protections. The current sub-processor list is available on request via support@biqc.ai.
6. Your rights
- Access your personal data at any time.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Withdraw consent for data processing.
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
7. Retention and deletion
Active account data is retained for the duration of your subscription. Upon cancellation, data is retained for 30 days to allow reactivation, then permanently deleted; backups are purged within 90 days of account closure. Full deletion requests are completed within 14 business days with written confirmation.
